It was in 26th March turned into a symbol of Bangladeshis determination to struggle, fight and survive in this world of treacherous activities and sneak attack on unarmed.

The independence Day is a national festival in our national life. It comes off on 26 March every year in our country. On this day in 1971 the independence of Bangladesh was declared in front of our nation. So this day is called Independence Day in our national life. It is a significant day in the history of Bangladesh. This day is celebrated every year in a befitting way in our country. Up to 25 March, 1971, Bangladesh was one of the two parts of Pakistan.
This part was called East Pakistan and other part was called West Pakistan. Right from 1947, the year of the birth of Pakistan, then the West Pakistani rulers exploited Bangladesh in all possible ways. They exploited, exploited and harassed the Bangladeshis in the name of Islam. In this way they established their colonial rules in Bangladesh. The undisrupted leader of Bangladesh, Bangbondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman realized that the disparity of economic and unjustified rule and other bilateral problems were far from any solution.
Comprehending the gravity of the problems Bongobondhu put forward his historically famous six points demand which virtually impelled the creation of a federation in accordance with the Lahore Resolution of 1940 as a working base.
