Introduction
Computer is the most magical invention of modern science. It is an ultra – modern electronic device of modern digital technology. But it dose not have no ability to do anything by itself. It works on the basis of commands given by the operators. It can solve any complicated problems within a short time.
Invention and development
Computer was invented by hard work of many scientists. Charles Bavez is the father of modern computer. He invented the structure of computer at first in 1833 . His invented computer had five parts. These were Store, Mill, Control. In put and Out put. By following the structure of computer of Bavez , Harvard university and I.B .M company combindly invented the modern electric computer in 1944. After this, it has been rapidly modified and many other computers have been invented.
Functions of Computer
A computer performs three functions. It receives data, processes it and at last emits it . At first the details of work put in to the input of the computer. It is called programme. The computer does not work in our language. So the programme is not be put in its own language. This programme is typed and produced in the tele – type unit of the information in put. Thogh, the out put prints the results with the help of the printing machine.

Usefulness of Computer
Computer is very useful to us in our Digital days. It is useing in our daily life for various purposes. It has made a great change in education in our Digital life. The students of developed countries use computer to prepare their study materials easily. The results of various examinations is prepared accurately by computer within a short time. Besides, computer has kept a ot of contributions in education.
Computer in medical science
Computer has made a great revolution change in medical science in our Digital life. At present computer is used to diagnose very complicated diseases. A new process of operation is invented by computer as an alternative of surgery. Besides this, computer is used to grind stones in normal pathological test. The medical tests and reports can be delivered within very short time by a computer.
Computer in Economics:
Now a days is used to prepare documents and budget and to store information.The price of currency and price of any share be known instantly by computer.
Computer in mills and factories
At present computer is used to run mills, factories and industries in all over the world. Cars, trains and planes are also running by the computer.
Disadvantages of computer
Inspite of having uncounted merits of computer, it has also some demerits too. It weakens our eye sight during the time of operating.
