An ideal farmer is a very important person in our society. A farmer is a person who cultivates land and grows crops in the field. Especially, in our country, he lives in a village. His house is made of corrugated iron sheets or straws. An ideal farmer lives a very simple life. He earns his livelihood by the sweat of his brow all day long. He works from morning till evening.
He rises very early in the morning and takes a little breakfast. He goes to the field with his wooden plough and a pair of bullocks. He cultivate and prepares his land with simple hand made tools. Sometimes he is too busy that he cannot make time to go home for the noonday meal. He has both pleasures and pains in his life. He gets much pleasures when he has a good harvest.
But he gets pains when the crops are destroyed by droughts, floods or cyclones. Though a farmer works hard, he cannot fulfill the basic needs of his family. He lives from hand to mouth. He also suffers from many diseases. However, he can improve his condition by availing of the opportunity for easy loans and by a planned use of it. Generally, a farmer is a poor man in our society. Most often he has no land of his own. So, he cultivates the land of others in our society. He lives from hand to mouth in his family. He gets up from his bed early in the morning and takes some sticky rice. Then he takes a wooden plough and a pair of bullocks and go to the field for cultivate the lands all day long. He works very hard to prepare the land for planting or sowing crops in the field.
He works in the field from dawn to dusk under the sun and rain without any break. For the farmers, growing and reaping the harvest, we can have our foods. By working hard in the field, he grows a bumper crop which helps to develop our national economy. We know that our country is an agricultural country. More than 80 percent people are directly or indirectly engaged in our agriculture.
Our economy is also mostly dependent on our agriculture. So, to promote the development of our national economy, the farmers should be assisted with agriculture subsidies by the government in our country. Besides, the life of a farmer is full of sorrow and sadness in his life because he has to lead a very simple and tiresome life. He suffers from various kinds of diseases in his life. He becomes very sad when all the crops are destroyed by the floods or drought in the field. Sometimes, he becomes very happy when he can take a good harvest from his growing crops in the fields.

A farmer is a familiar figure in our society. He lives in a slum at a little cottage in our society. A farmer is a person who cultivates the land and grows various kinds of crops in the field. A farmer is very industrious in his life. He gets up from his bed early in the morning and takes some sticky rice with the green chili and starts for his work in the field. Generally, he takes a plough, a yoke, a spade and a pair of bullocks. He works in the field under the sun and rain all day long without taking any rest.
After preparing the lands he sows the seeds and plants the crops in the field. Then he takes care of the land before maturing. He weedout the grasses and uses fertilizer and insecticides in the field all day long. He keeps a dream for growing golden crops in the field. The life of a farmer is full of sorrow and sadness in his life. He feels very sad when the crops are destroyed by the floods , cyclones, tidal – bore and drought in the field.
But sometimes, he becomes very happy when he gets a good harvest from the field. We know that Bangladesh is an agro based country and agriculture is its main economic source. In this context, all the farmers are our real artisans of our national economy. But it is a matter of great regret that they are not getting any help from the government. They are suffering from the lack of capital and the agricultural tools in our country because they are very poor and landless.
Majority farmers do not have any lands of their own and they cultivate the lands of others for growing crops. If they get some help from the government, they will grow more crops in the field. Besides, most of the farmers of our country cannot grow crops scientifically and they have no knowledge of scientific cultivation in our country. So the government of our country should give them scientific agricultural training and some financial help so that they can grow more crops easily in the field.
Moreover, a farmer is our neighbor, friend and our relative so everybody should respect and help him in our society because only he is the real fighter and artisan of our national economy in our country. For the time being it can be said that a farmer is the backbone of our total national economy in our country so he is our pride and prestige and we save him from being collapsed in our society.
